Moderator applications welcome

First things first. A happy new year to every single one of you! May this year be joyful and may you win the lottery.

Now back to reality. We are recruiting moderators again! If you think you're the right man/woman for the job, you can send your application in now. All you need to do is fill in a short 20-pages survey which will show us exactly what kind of person you are. Our team of researchers will read every single form and pick a select few who will become Moderator of Dolumar.

So hurry to the form and fill it out if you want to become moderator. It's serious business, so don't sign up if you're not up for the job.

Christmas trees for Life

Between the 19th and te 24th of December, we are going to sell Christmas trees for charity. Each christmas tree will cost 150 credits and all money generated will be donated to Music for Life, an action organized by Red Cross Belgium and Studio Brussel.

This years collection is organized help the fight against malaria. Malaria infects over 247 million people every single year, killing one child every thirty seconds. Malaria is spread by mosquitoes, a vaccination does not exist.

The christmas trees will be available from the 19th of December in the premium shop.

Big update to honour system

As announced in our forum, we're pushing a big update to our honour system today. These updates will greatly influence the penalties big players receive for attacking small players.

The old formula is replaced with this new one:

honour loss = (((attacker * 0.8) / defender) - 1) * 100

This means you will now lose honour when you attack someone that is 25% smaller than you are.

But there is even more! If you attack someone who has been attacked within 24 hours by one of your fellow clan mates, every member of you clan will lose half the amount of honour you lose. In other words,  you can lose honour even when  you are not attacking anyone. Better look out what your clan members are doing, a few unhonourable attacks could very well end up in a complete clan wipe.
